「SIME嬰幼兒課程」家長講座

本中心作為研究推展，為1-2歲（幼嬰班）及2-3歲（幼小班） 提供以感官探索為基礎的「SIME嬰幼兒課程」，讓嬰幼兒在提供適切刺激的環境中愉快地學習，發揮主動學習的天性，盡展個人潛能，從而為其終身學習奠定良好基礎。

「幼兒教育課程新方向」幼教研討會業界講座

二零一八年五月十九日下午，本中心獲香港教育大學幼兒教育學系邀請，參加「幼兒教育課程新方向」幼教研討會的業界講座。楊嘉儀校長、蔡寧主任、黎嘉惠老師、岑敏慧老師及譚寶雲老師參與了兩節題目發表，介紹中心的戲劇教育與「問題–探索 –經驗」課程如何為幼兒提供綜合而整全的學習經歷。

 

當日中心發表的題目包括：
1. 戲劇教育與「問題–探索 –經驗」課程模式
2. 「問題–探索 –經驗」模式下的自然教育

 

 

 

  

 

Dr Chan Wai-ling says parents should encourage, not pressure preschool children into hobbies

South China Morning Post – 13th March, 2018

 

SCMP reported that Dr Chan Wai-ling, Assistant Professor at the Department of Early Childhood Education, said parents can help their preschool children to discover potential hobbies by exposing them to a broad spectrum of experiences.

 

 

Dr Chan said an enjoyable hobby helps a child form their personal identity and enhance their confidence. However, she warned parents against imposing their own hobbies on their children.
